Our approach to privacy - As part of your job, you will be working on tools that process personal data relating to Yubo users. - As a social media platform, we require our employees to have a strong awareness and understanding of privacy issues, and in particular of children's online safety, privacy and well-being. - Every employee at Yubo is expected to participate in compliance with data protection regulations as well as the continuous improvement of our Privacy & Safety By Design measures. Your responsibilities - Contribute to the development and optimization of backend APIs for all our mobile or web applications. - Assist in managing real-time message flows and implementing event-driven architecture. - Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to create and integrate new data models. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code aligned with team and company standards. - Actively participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge with the team. - Conduct in-depth code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code. Tools we use - Languages: Node, React, TypeScript - Data: Couchbase, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Mongo DB - Message broker: Redis, Kafka, Nats
